On Japanese Food and Body Paint…

Have I lost my mind? Oh well I went up the Sky City just a week before I started my new job in Newmarket and queued up for face painting. Yup it’s kinda like Maori face painting but for kids and I thought it would really be fun to have something really feminine and colorful to cover up a laceration scar on my right forearm. I always said that if I’d have a tattoo it will be the right spot. Pretty cool ei? Especially next to my Japanese green tea.

Sorry if this post is so much as to show off my “tattoo” and not recipes as promised. Hopefully by next month I will be back to what I love best… cooking for my family. (But frankly… for the past 2 months my lunch seems to be forever sushi.)

Magandang umaga. Hey, I like your tattoo too! Right now I am making masarap Sinigang with pork and sour broth. I am a “kano” but I love Philippine culture (and the babaees too!) I am using sweet Thai tamarind but I am worried that using just one might not be enough. What do you think?

  4. That’s so creative. The colors match your skin tone.
