I’ve been distracted these past few days, having found out that 20 of my blog posts were stolen by a person whose computer keyboard labels for Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V must have been erased due to too much “research work”. He is so unbelievable; not only has he stolen my food photos, cropping the part where I have my blog or name written down, but has copied everything word for word! Funny how he also cooks for his 2 boys and the way my mom does. He “harvested” posts after posts from food bloggers like we’re FarmVille friends.  For all it’s worth, he sent me a message of apology, but most of my posts were still at his pages. Anyhoo, there is no need to spell out his name, that would just add more to his already notorious rep in the net. (Or should I? so everybody knows what a liar he truly is…) His blog has been taken down by its host for copyright infringement and all of his FB pages. Oh well, he is probably now busy making a new one as I write this post.
At dahil ang skinless longganisa ko ay paborito nya at nakarating sa blog nya I wanna share this home-made-longganisa I made months ago. Kung tamad magluto at magsulat ang magnanakaw ng ulam, ako din ay tamad gumawa ng longganisa. Too lazy to roll so they’re homemade garlicky pork patties instead.
Prepped exactly the way I cooked the skinless ones. Oh, and I chucked in spring onions.
Served with plain rice, egg and salad greens.
For Food Friday and Food Trip Friday.
Yes, egg rings to make ‘em round!
(Beth, salamat po :-)Â at sa mga Dragonesas!)
- 500g of ground pork (with fat is preferable so sausages won't be too dry)
- 3-5 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp chopped spring onion
- 1 medium-size onion, chopped (optional)
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup or tomato sauce (optional)
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- salt and pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- Combine all the above ingredients in a bowl. Fry 1 tbsp of the mixture to taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Use an egg ring to shape the mixture into round patties. Place each patty on a piece of baking paper and stack them one on top of another in a container.
- You can cook them right away or chill overnight.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan. Fry 3-4 patties over medium heat until golden brown. Cook about 3-5 minutes each side depending on your preference.
Watch out n lang tayo! tamad din ako sa longganisa lol, pero amsarap kaya nakakaengganyo!

Good to know he sent you a letter of apology. Hay grabe itong si “Chef,” nai-stress ang Tuesday, Thursday at Friday natin… but it’s good na rin, at least his blogs and FB pages are now down.
Minsan, ita-try kong gawin ang longganisa mo.
